Jane Ann Border, 71, of Beverly, died Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born January 5, 1940 in Caldwell to Floyd and Geneva Byrd Porter. She was a graduate of Caldwell High School. She loved to read. Her life centered around her grandchildren. Jane is survived by her husband, Richard, three children, Brian Border (Ann) of Stockport, Robin Hawkins (Forrest) and Gina Bartmess (Pat), all of Beverly, twelve grandchildren, two of which were raised by Jane, Jessica Offenberger (Jason) and Ashley Matheny (Chris), thirteen great grandchildren and two sisters, Dorothy Porter and Nellie Stewart, both of Caldwell, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Mike and Roger Border, granddaughter, Tina McLean and two brothers, Russell and Larry Porter. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2011, at the Lowell Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home. Friends may call on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Beverly Cemetery.
