Jason Robert Sayres

October 11, 1976 — June 24, 2011

Jason Robert Sayres, 34, formerly of Marietta, and more recently of Weber Health Care Center in Wellington, Ohio, died Friday, June 24, 2011, at Mercy Allen Hospital in Oberlin. He was born October 11, 1976 in Marietta. He had attended Ewing School and worked at WASCO Workshop. He was baptized in, and was a member of, St. Mary Catholic Church. Jason is survived by his mother, Patricia Morrison Sayres of Marietta, uncles Bob Morrison (Helen) and Cletus Crock of Marietta, cousins, Eric Morrison of Philo, Chrisy Heiss (George) of Lowell, and Matthew Morrison and Stacey Eddy (Scott) of Marietta. Preceded in death by grandparents, Charles and Ethel Morrison and aunt, Shirley Crock. The family wishes to give a special thanks to all of the staff at Weber Health Care Center for the excellent care they provided for Jason. Funeral Liturgy, with Mass, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 27, 2011, at St. Mary Catholic Church. Friends may call at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home on Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Park.
