Jeanette Spies Stevens

Jeanette "Jenny" Spies Stevens 93, of Allegan, Michigan, and formerly of Lowell, died Sunday, February 1, 2009, in Allegan. She was born January 16, 1916 in Lowell, the daughter of George and Rowa Bucey Spies. She was a graduate of the Ohio State University, with a Bachelor degree in Home Economics. She had been employed by Ohio Power in Coshocton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Radcliffe "Steve" Stevens in June of 2000. Jenny is survived by her two daughters, Martha Nooney (Douglas) of Allegan and Elaine Parke-Susco (John) of Tionesta, PA; four grandchildren, Steven Burr Erikson, Michael Brandt Erikson, Jennifer Sheridan Oldenberg and Jonathan Stone Sheridan; three great grandchildren, Kathryn Elaine Erickson, Ryan Hooper Erikson and Tess Melody Oldenberg. A memorial service will be held today in Allegan. This spring, Jenny will be buried next to her husband and her parents, in the family plot in Greenlawn Cemetery in Lowell.
