Jennifer Ashley McGregor, 28, of Pittsburgh, PA, died Tuesday, April 10, 2018 in Belpre, Ohio. She was born on May 13, 1989, in Columbus, Ohio to Jeffery D. and Christy J. Vigneron McGregor.
Jennifer was a 2007 graduate of Warren High School and received her Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Photography from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 2011. She was currently employed as a barista at the Abbey on Butler Street. She loved coffee and touched thousands of lives working as a barista, brightening days with her warm heart and open ear. Jennifer was a freelance photographer, who loved nature, cycling, reading, writing, traveling and spending time with her grandfather.
She is survived by her parents of Vincent, Ohio; paternal grandfather, Miles McGregor of Vincent; brother, Malcolm McGregor (Autumn) of Vincent; niece and nephew, Layla and Miles; partner, Alexander Kroll of Pittsburgh and their loving dog, Athena; great aunt, Doris Henderhan of Marietta, Ohio; many uncles, aunts, and cousins; and her many stacks of journals and photographs.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Janice McGregor; maternal grandparents, D.V. and Carolyn Vigneron, Jr. and Peggy Schultheis Grimm.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2018, at the Lighthouse Baptist Church, with Pastor David Dye officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Barlow Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home, and from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at the church.
