Jeri Lois Lang

Jeri Lois Lang, 82, of Lowell, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, June 2nd, 2024. She was born on November 29th, 1941 in Marietta, Ohio to Lewis Walter and Ethel Florence Brothers Leonhart .

Jeri was a graduate of Fort Frye High School, Class of 1959, and had a long career as a Postmaster. She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy and enjoyed crafting, flower arranging, gardening, hosting themed tea parties for her grandchildren, shopping, and playing cards with friends.

Jeri is survived by her husband of 63 years, Thomas Lang, their children, Tracy Lang (Angie), Lorilee Kiser (Bob), and Renee Shankland (Wayne), as well as nine grandchildren, Nikki, Devon, Lucas and Cade Lang, Chantal Hand (Brandon), Cecily Fyffe (Billy), Shane Kern (Brenna), Jesse and Cassie Shankland, nine great grandchildren, Chloe, Jaxson, Nash, Hunter, Anson, Louisa, Billy, Bodie and Magnolia and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Jeanette Matthews, Joanne Strahler, and Margie Beardsley.

A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held in her honor at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Lowell, Ohio on Friday, June 7th, 2024 at 10:00 am, celebrated by The Rev. David Gaydosik. Visitation will take place at LOWELL CHAPEL OF CAWLEY & PEOPLES FUNERAL HOME on Thursday, June 6th, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
