Jerry Lou Yoho, 75, of Marietta, died Monday, August 5, 2013, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born April 23, 1938 in Salem, WV to Fronce E. and Urca F. Kittle Sutton. She graduated from Walkersville, WV High School in 1956 and St. Mary's School of Nursing in Clarksburg, WV in 1959. Jerry worked in nursing at the local hospitals, as well as for the Red Cross. She was a lifetime member of American Legion Auxiliary, Unit #750 in Lowell and was an honorary life member of the Devola Fire Company. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting and had won several awards at local events. Jerry is survived by her three sons, Robert LeRoy Yoho, Sr. of Lowell, Donald Lloyd Yoho, II (Erica) of Marietta and Frederick Lee Yoho, Sr. (Luci) of Marietta, eight grandchildren, Stephanie, Tim, Freddie, April, Bobby, Austin, Katie and Noah, a sister, JoElla Williams of Bridgeport, WV and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lloyd Yoho, Sr., on November 19, 2001, they were married on April 22, 1962; also by an infant brother, Marion LeRoy Sutton, and a sister, Vonna Pingley. Funeral services will be held at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home on Friday, August 9, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Melvin Conley officiating. Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Donations may be made to the Devola Fire Company, 1286 Masonic Park Road, Marietta, OH, 45750.
