Jo Anne Goudy

Jo Anne "Jody" Goudy, 72, of Coolville, Ohio, died Monday, October 28, 2019 at Belpre Landings Nursing & Rehabilitation. She was born on September 13, 1947 in Marietta, Ohio to William Brice and Mabel L. Hayhurst Goudy, whom preceded her in death.

Jody was a member of the Williamstown High School class of 1965. She was retired from her job as a bus driver for Marietta City Schools. Jody took delight in her family, animals, playing games and chocolate. She was happiest at family gatherings, her family meant everything to her. Jody had a great sense of humor. She touched the lives of so many and it showed, the family would like to thank the nurses, physical therapists and aides at Belpre Landing, who went above and beyond and grieved with the family.

She is survived by two children, Jon J. Grimm (Katie) and Jennifer A. Marks; sisters, Lois Andrews, Patty Varner (John), and Susan Shepard; grandchildren, Amy Hale (Greg), Michelle Grimm, William Marks, Andy and Lily Sands; great grandson, Bryson Hale; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends are welcome to join her family to pay your respects during her celebration of life, in her son's home, at 511 Front Street, Marietta. On Saturday, November 2nd, 2019 From 3 to 6pm. Her ashes will be placed in Riverview Cemetery in Williamstown at a later time.
