Joanne Dishong

Joanne Dishong, 91, of Marietta, died on February 28, 2025 at her home. She was born in Corning, Ohio on June 7, 1933 to Bradford and Viola Kinsel Pierce. She married Carl Wallace Dishong, Sr on October 18, 1953.
Joanne had been a homemaker. She was a member of Marietta Chapter #59, Order of Eastern Star for 60 years, and was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ in Marietta.
She was preceded in death by her husband, and was the last of her family of origin. Joanne is survived by her five children, Jan Dishong, Linda Greathouse, Carl Dishong Jr, Jonathon Dishong, Dean Dishong (Brenda) and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Private graveside services were held at Oak Grove Cemetery with The Reverend Carla Wobschall officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to First Congregational UCC, 318 Front Street, Marietta, Ohio 45750.
