John William Miracle

John William Miracle, 57, of Marietta, Ohio, died Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born on November 22, 1961 in Marietta to Frank Norval "Norv" and Delores Catlapp Miracle.

John graduated from Marietta High School. He was a lineman for 10 years with TCI in Marietta and then worked as an electrician for IBEW Local 972 for about 25 years. John was a member of Masonic Lodge #308 and a Moose member in Marietta and Lowell. He enjoyed throwing horseshoes and was an avid Steeler and Buckeye fan.

He is survived by his children, Heather Miracle and Justin Miracle of Covington, GA; his mother, of Marietta; two ex-wives, Marjorie Nicholas Miracle of Marietta and Angela Page of Covington; brothers, Frankie and Jim Miracle of Marietta; sister in law, Susan Miracle; and nieces and nephews, Ryan, Jessica, Tacy (Matthew), Shelby and Skylar.

He was preceded in death by his father in 2001.

Funeral services will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home, with The Rev. Linda Steelman officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 6:30 Wednesday. Masonic services will be held as part of the funeral services as well.
