Johnny Sanford Miller, 59, of Pike St., Marietta, died suddenly on Wednesday, June 13, 2012. He was born June 28, 1952 in Marietta to William E. and Lucille J. Eddy Miller. He was a certified electrician/refrigeration technician, and an all around handyman, helping out anyone who asked. Johnny was a musician who loved playing guitars, mandolins, banjos, and singing. He was a gifted songwriter and an avid Beatles fan. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, including his sons, Jonas and Wesley, his fiance, Penny Jones, of Marietta, grandchildren, Karly, Eelyjah and Taylor, special granddaughter, Faith Parrish, brother Edward Miller (Judy) of Marietta, sisters, Susie Harris of Marietta and Mary Cantwell (Kester) of Whipple. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Naomi "Kitty" Hill, Charolett Martin, and brother, James "Jim" Miller. The family will greet friends at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home on Monday from 5 to 7 p.m., and on Tuesday from 9 to 11 a.m. There will be a graveside service at Oak Grove Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2012, with Chris Longgrear officiating.
