Jolene Corin Craig

Jolene Corin Craig, 33, Marietta, died Friday evening at Marietta Memorial Hospital. Born in Marietta, Ohio December 10, 1980, she was the daughter of John C. and Dee Holland Craig.
She graduated from Marietta High School in 1999 and Muskingum University in 2004 with a degree in journalism. She was a member of Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority.
Jo was a professional journalist for 10 years, writing for numerous publications. She enjoyed writing music reviews. Jo loved to travel. She became an avid collector of items that interested her most. All knew of her love for her Mini Cooper, "Monty". Jo had an infectious smile and big brown eyes that welcomed all.
She is survived by her parents, of Marietta, and by aunts and uncles, Joe and Karla Wise, of Malta, and Lennie Cutsumbis, of Marietta. Also survived by cousins Josh and Sam Wise and Alex and Meghan Cutsumbis. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, H. C. and Jackie Holland and John L. and Ruth Craig.
A celebration of Jolene's life will be held 3:00 pm Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home, with The Rev. Karl Kesselring officiating. Jo's family will greet friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 6-8 pm, and on Wednesday, from 1:00 until time of services. Also, they will be hosting a reception at the funeral home immediately following the celebration of Jolene's life.
Jolene's wishes were to become an organ donor through Lifeline of Ohio. Her family would like to acknowledge and thank Dr. Patel, of Riverside Hospital, for the wonderful care he administered to Jo and her family.
