Joyce Esther Anderson

Joyce Esther Anderson, 78, of Vincent, died Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born August 10, 1937 in New Orleans, LA to Louis Frederick and Mary Louise Mitten Boulet. She was a member of Veto Presbyterian Church. Joyce enjoyed time spent with her family, as well as many crafts, including woodworking, toile painting, sewing, and crocheting. She is survived by her husband, Donald Duane Anderson, they were married on July 14, 1957; two sons, David Anderson (Carmela) and Aaron Anderson, and a daughter, Donna Richardson (Rodney White), all of Vincent; seven grandchildren, Cody Anderson, Mick Henthorne, Adam Anderson, Elizabeth Anderson, Heather Merritt, Brandon Robinson, and Richia Richardson; eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Doris Riviere and Janet Gaubert of Marrero, LA and a brother, Lenny Warren, of Metairie, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Jimmy and Louis Boulet. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 21, 2015, at the Barlow Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home. Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
