Juanita Ann Bowen, 78, of Marietta, died Tuesday, November 30, 2010, in Columbus. She was born November 3, 1932 in Marietta to Harry and Viola Tullius Sarver. She was a 1949 graduate of St. Mary's Catholic High School. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, the CWC, and was very involved in volunteering at the church. Juanita is survived by her husband, Cyrus L. Bowen, they were married on June 14, 1949, also by her four children, Wanda Stover (Bruce) of Marietta, Rhonda Thompson (Tom) of Sunbury, Tonya Loyer (Doug) of Marietta and David "Sam" Bowen (Cindy) of Fleming, fourteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren, as well as a brother, David Sarver (Carol) of Marietta, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Ervin and Richmond Sarver and a sister, Mary Alberta Wotring. Funeral Liturgy, with Mass, will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2010, at St. Mary Catholic Church, with the Rev. Msgr. John Michael Campbell as celebrant. Friends may call at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. There will be a Vigil Service at 3:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
