June Carol Ours, 82, of Lowell, died Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born June 4, 1933 in Charleston, WV to Benjamin and Gladys Harless. June had been a real estate agent and had owned and operated Ma & Pa's Dinner Bell in Lowell. She enjoyed wintering in Florida, cooking, gardening, and watching birds. She was a member of Legion Auxiliary Unit #750 in Lowell. June is survived by her husband, Travis Ours; four children, Harold "Skip" Ours (Tobie) of Waverly, WV, Michael Ours (Mary) of Kissimmee, FL, Melody Hardesty (Michael) of Lowell and Michelle Wenglein (Steve) of Trabuco Canyon, CA; 24 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; a sister, Ola Mae O'Dear, and her dog, Tinker. She was preceded in death by a son, Robin "Bill" Ours, sister, Dorothy Porter, brother, Shane Reno, and grandson, Chris Bennett. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 4, 2015, at the Lowell Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home with Pastor Don Hart officiating. Friends may call on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in Waterford Cemetery.
