Kathleen Frances "Kathy" McCoy, 72, of Marietta, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, May 8, 2015. She was born March 9, 1943 in Butler, PA to Francis and Alberta Ott Winters. She was a graduate of St. Mary's Catholic High School. Kathy had been a district manager for the House of Lloyd for several years. She had been a member of the Calvary Community Church and Reno Lions Club. She had been a Girl Scout troop leader. She loved watching TV, especially The Ellen Show, as Kathy was a real jokester herself. She also enjoyed watching the deer and birds at her house, as well as the grandchildren at their activities. She is survived by her son, Charles "Chuck" McCoy (Christi) of Devola; two daughters, Cheryl McCoy (Bill Davis) and Charlene McCoy of Marietta; three grandchildren, Matthew Davis, Chase and Chrystal McCoy; two brothers, Fred Winters (Nancy) of Hughes Springs, TX and Gene Winters of Baltimore, MD; a sister, Linda Fehling, of Florida and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William M. "Bill" McCoy, an infant grandson, Charlie Davis, and two sisters, Mary Margaret Winters and Alice Copeland. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at the Calvary Community Church, Belpre, with Pastor Kenneth Fullerton officiating. Burial will be in New St. Marys Cemetery, Marietta. Friends may call at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and at the church for one hour prior to her service on Tuesday.
