Kathryn Foreman Miles, 83, of Inverness, FL and formerly of Little Hocking, died Thursday, May 3, 2012, in Florida. She was born July 24, 1928 in Barlow to Clarence William and Mary Alice Hayes Foreman, Sr. She had resided in Inverness, Florida since 1985. Her hobbies included sewing, quilting, and cooking. She was a member of the Red Hatters and the First Baptist Church of Inverness and the Barlow Presbyterian Church. Kathryn is survived by her husband, Orval W. "Jack" Miles, son, Thomas W. (Diana) Miles of Little Hocking, daughter, Linda A. (James) McComas of Little Hocking, brother Lowell (Barbara) Foreman of Vincent, special niece, Pamela Sue Miller, four grandchildren, Elisha Miles, Kimberly Miles (Jason) Cade, Georgia Miles and Jason McComas and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Clarence Edward and Francis Allen Foreman, two sisters, Nancy Gilley and Carolyn Wise and a granddaughter, Joyce McComas. A memorial service was held Saturday, May 5, 2012, in Inverness. Local services will be held on Friday, May 11, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at the Barlow Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Rick Hastings officiating. Burial will be in Barlow Central Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Barlow Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home. There will also be one hour of visitation at the church on Friday.
