Kathy Sue Evans

Kathy Sue Evans, 68, formerly of Belpre, Ohio, died Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Oak Point Nursing and Rehab in Baltic, Ohio. She was born on June 17, 1949 in Parkersburg, WV to William and Marianne Church Turrill.
Kathy was a big part of the Harvest Moon Festival. She was an artist at heart, loving to paint, write, make paper mache dolls, and so much more. Kathy also loved history, especially the Blennerhassett Island.
She is survived by her mother, Marianne Wagner of Belpre; son, Brian Bond (Karen) of Little Hocking; two grandchildren, Kyle and Emily; brother, Joe Turrill (Patty) of Belpre; sister, Jeannie Kent (Keith) of Beverly; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; husband, William Evans, Jr.; and son, Charles.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the Barlow Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rockland Cemetery in Belpre. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
