Kenward F. "Ken" Delcambre, 80, of Marietta, Ohio, formerly of Granbury, TX, died Thursday, April 19, 2018 at his home in Marietta. He was born on August 18, 1937 in Delcambre, Louisiana, to the late Louglace Anthony and Nathelia Bourque Delcambre.
Ken graduated from East Chambers High School in Winnie, TX and served eight years in the Air Force Reserves. He worked for Central Freight Lines as a Sales Rep for 36 years, retiring in 1994, and then worked for Acme Trucking Company in sales as well, retiring in 1999. Ken enjoyed the outdoors, including golfing, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Jean Henry Delcambre, whom he married on August 30, 1957; daughter, Pamela Russell (Timothy); grandchildren, Ryan Russell (Jennifer), Austin Russell (Jennifer) and Amanda Snyder (Jacob); seven great grandchildren; sister, Sandra Royer; nephew, Michael Royer (Tammy); and Goddaughter, Cathy Comeaux (Michael).
Abiding with his wishes, he has been cremated. Private celebration of his life will be held at the convenience of the family.
