Larry Edward Huffman, 62, of Waterford, OH, died Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Parkersburg, WV. He was born on May 16, 1953, in Parkersburg, to Wilfred L. and Jane Lemaster Huffman. Larry had attended school in the Warren School District and graduated from Marietta High School in 1971. He had worked several years as a bricklayer and had been employed at Globe Metallurgical for 22 years. Larry loved being outdoors, hunting and riding his Tennessee Walking Horses until his health had worsened. Larry is survived by his wife of 40 years, Cheryl McGregor Huffman, they were married on October 11, 1974, a son, Ryan Edward Huffman of Waterford, his twin sister, Linda Loew (Kevin) of Edwardsville, IL, sister, Debra Church (Ron) of Belpre, brother, Kenneth Huffman, of Cutler, his mother-in-law, Mildred McGregor Elliott of Barlow and his "other parents", aunt and uncle, Ron and JoAnn Huffman of Marietta. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sharon Huffman Workman. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at the Barlow Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home, with a friend of the family, Ed Long, officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations may be directed to the Barlow VFD, P.O. Box 121, Barlow, Ohio 45712.
