Laurie Ann Huck Offerman (LO) 51, of Auburndale, Florida, died Monday, February 5, 2018. She was born April 2, 1966 in Marietta Memorial Hospital to Bernard Joseph and Dorothy Smith Huck.
Laurie was a 1984 graduate of Fort Frye High School. She was a 1990 graduate of Polk State College in Radiologic Technology and completed Radiation Therapy School in 1993. She enjoyed working as a Radiation Therapist. Laurie was employed by Winter Haven Hospital and finished her career working part time for Central Florida Cancer Institute. She enjoyed listening to music, swimming, bicycling, running and boating.
Laurie is survived by her daughter Allison Offerman Constant (Shaun) of Auburndale, Florida; three sisters Debbie Madison (John) of Indianapolis, Ind., Nancy Huck of Lowell Ohio and Mary Beth Caffey (Allen) of Lowell. She is survived by former husband, William Offerman Jr, the father of their daughter Allison as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Laurie is preceded in death by her brother, Bernard J. Huck Jr and her brother Terry Huck, also preceded by her parents.
Funeral Liturgy, with Mass, will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Lowell, Ohio, with The Rev. Timothy Shannon as celebrant. Friends may call at the Lowell Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., with the Rosary being recited at 7:30 p.m. and Vigil service at 7:45 p.m. Burial will be in Our Lady of Mercy Church Cemetery.
