Leahann Cochran, 61, of Williamstown, WV, died Sunday, December 30, 2012, at her home. She was born November 27, 1951 in Marietta to Lewis and Anna Morrison DeMarco, Sr. She was a graduate of Williamstown High School. Leahann had been employed in home health care. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Leahann cherished time spent with her grandchildren, enjoyed shopping, and was an avid reader. She is survived by a daughter, Lyndi Miller, of Proctorville, OH, a son, John Edward Cochran (Laura), of Huntington, WV, four grandchildren, Sophia Rose Cochran, Nina Simone Miller, Samuel Lewis Miller, and Kathleen Marie Derickson, two sisters, Ida Haddad (Mike) of Columbus and Terry Rowe (David) of New Hampshire. She will be missed by her faithful friend, Livvy. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Lewis DeMarco, Jr. Her ultimate power to love her family and friends will be sorely missed. There will be a memorial mass at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 4, 2013, at St. Mary Catholic Church, with the Rev. Msgr. John Michael Campbell as celebrant. There will be a reception immediately following the mass at the church. Donations may be made to the Humane Society of The Ohio Valley, P.O. Box 5, Marietta, OH 45750.
