Lewis "Lou" Edward Muro, 39, of Marietta, Ohio, died Sunday, May 28, 2017. He was born on October 3, 1977 in Greensburg, PA to Sherry M. Smouse and Alan "Al" R. Muro.
Lou graduated from Marietta High School and was a member of the Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption. He was a painter by profession. Lou loved baseball, was an amazing player, and was part of "The Slickest Infield" in Pittsburgh, PA. He loved fishing and his cats, listening to music, especially Willie Nelson, Chris Stapleton, and the Grateful Dead, was a great pool player, playing in many leagues. One of his favorite quotes was, "Blood makes us related, loyalty makes us family".
He was survived by his mother, Sherry Hill, and her husband, Mike, of Marietta; two brothers, Anthony Muro (Kimberly) of Hunker, PA and John Tennyson Hill of Marietta; niece and nephew, Zoe and Alan Muro; step sister, Terri Ann Mandia (Matt) of Harrisburg, PA; and grandmother, Janet Carter of Hutchinson, PA.
He was preceded in death by his father, Al Muro; step brother, Alan Muro; maternal grandfather, Ducky Smouse; and paternal grandparents, Sabatino and Margaret Muro.
Memorial Mass at The Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption at a later date.
