Linda Anne Dauber

February 19, 1953 — September 22, 2014

Loving Mother, Wife, Friend, and Volunteer, Linda Anne Dauber, 61 of Marietta succumbed to her battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy at her home Monday, September 22, 2014. She was born February 19, 1953 in Barberton, Ohio and adopted by Woodrow and Lucielle Helms Moreland.
She received her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Akron in 1981. Linda moved to Marietta after marrying the love of her life William M. Dauber, on October 24, 1981. Linda was devoted to making a positive impact on her community through her involvement with local theater, her daughter's school and crew team, volunteering for Ohio Reads, and the Unitarian Universalist Church. She was an avid gardener, wonderful party planner, enjoyed art projects, and made an excellent cheesecake. She will always be remembered for her cheerful nature and kind heart.
She is survived by her husband, William M. Dauber, of Marietta, and daughter, Joanna M. Dauber, of Philadelphia, PA. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 2014, at the First Unitarian Universalist Society with the Rev. Kathryn Hawbaker officiating. Friends may call at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home on Thursday from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m.
