Linda Sue Ellis

Linda Sewell Ellis, 67, of Marietta, Ohio, died Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 31, 1950 in Pittsburgh, PA to Denver and Margaret Ulmer Roberts.
Linda was a 1968 graduate of Marietta High School. She had worked for the Marietta Tourist and Convention Center many years ago. Linda then was the Human Resource Manager at the Lafayette Hotel and retired from the Blennerhassett Hotel. She loved floral design, baking and cooking.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Ellis, whom she married on November 17, 2007; son, Benjamin Sewell (Janna) of Marietta; step children, Lucas Ellis (Holly) of San Diego, CA and Kate Vaubel (David) of Columbus, Ohio; four grandchildren, Stephen, Kylie, Jalynn and Gavin Sewell; three step grandchildren, Dakotah and Sorella North and Sage Ellis; three great grandchildren, Raeleigh, Presley and Bentley; two step great grandchildren, William and James; two siblings, Judith Allen of Marietta and John Roberts (Patsy) of Marietta; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her first husband, Stephen Ralph Sewell.
Her celebration of life will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on her birthday, Saturday, March 31, 2018, at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home.
