Linda Sue Peters, 66, of Williamstown, WV, died Monday, July 3, 2017 at Heartland of Marietta. She was born on February 24, 1951 in Marietta, to James Robert and Nellie Maude Lowe Jackson.
Lynn graduated from Fort Frye High School in 1969. She retired from Mid Ohio Valley Line in 2016. Lynn enjoyed making crafts and her dog, Daisy.
She is survived by her daughter, Nicole Montgomery (Darin) of Reno; son, Doug Caplinger (Lisa) of Daphne, Alabama; two grandchildren, Ryan and Jacob Morris; brother, Jim Jackson (Sandy) of Lowell, Ohio; two sisters, Elaine Thomas (John) of Marietta and Judy Rader (Ron) of Little Hocking, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.
Lynn was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Patricia Long and Shirley Long.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Greenlawn Cemetery in Lowell, with the Rev. Tom Hendershot officiating. Visitation is at the Lowell Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home on Friday from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
