Linda Lou Tilton, 69, of Lowell, died Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born August 17, 1945 in Columbus to Melvin and Arabella Eberts Powell. She was a graduate of North High School in Columbus and had received an Associate Degree from Washington State Community College, from where she retired. Linda was a member of Eastern Star, Lowell Pythian Sisters, and had attended the Lowell Christian Church. She enjoyed her children, going to the beach, reading, singing and playing cards. Linda is survived by her husband, Kenneth Ralph Tilton, they were married on June 23, 1967 in Michigan. Also surviving are son, Kenneth Ewing Tilton (Ruthie), daughter, Rhonda Kay Tilton (Josh Midnight) all of Lowell, sister, Kay Fowler (Joe) of Columbus, brother in law, Marvin Weisheimer (Darlene) of London, OH, and many friends who will miss her, including Micky Stengel of Lowell. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Dorothy, Gordon, Dale, Paul, Frankie, and Carmen and her in laws, Ewing and Juanita Tilton. Funeral services will be held at the Lowell Christian Church on Thursday, July 16, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., with Rob Tuttle officiating. Visitation will be at the Lowell Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. There will also be visitation at the church on Thursday for one hour prior to her service. There will be Eastern Star and Pythian Sister services on Wednesday, beginning at 7:00 p.m. Her burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Donations may be made to the L-A Fire & Rescue, P.O.
