Louise A. "Lou" Hall, 97, of The Pines at Glenwood, Marietta, died at 10:35 a.m. on Thursday (Nov. 20, 2008) at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born in Culpeper, Va., on June 11, 1911, to William W. and Lucy Ann Coates Apperson. Lou attended Virginia Intermont College, The University of Virginia and The University of Tennessee. She was a teacher by profession and belonged to Alpha Delta Kappa Honorary Society. Surviving her are sons, Dr. William A. Isenhour (Andi) of Blacksburg, Va., and John Preston Isenhour (Dana Moore) of Nashville, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Dr. Jennifer Isenhour (Chris Rhue) of Charlotte, N.C., Cindy Louise Alls (Brian) of Wake Forest, N.C., and William Clayton Isenhour (Christina) of Charlotte, N.C.; two great-grandchildren, Brady William and Carter Wilson Alls; and two stepdaughters, Roberta E. Smith of Hingham, Mass., and Marguerite Branin of Medford, N.J. Her parents; first husband, Noel Isenhour; and second husband, Robert L. Hall, preceded her in death. Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 22, 2008) at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home with Rod Kinzel officiating. Donations may be made to The Pines, 200 Timberline Drive, Marietta, Ohio 45750.
