Lucille Angel

Clara Lucille Angel, 90, of Williamstown, died Thursday, October 28, 2010, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Parkersburg. She was born June 23, 1920 in Campbells Creek, WV to Clarence Wesley and Pearl McCune Hamrick. She had attended The Peoples Church at Boaz, where she had taught Sunday School and vacation bible school for many years. She was a member of the Sandhill Homemakers Club and had been a 4-H leader for 50 years. Lucille is survived by her daughter, Pat Waybright (Jim) of Marietta; sons, Stephen L. Angel (Deborah) of Parkersburg, WV, and Jack M. Angel of Boaz, WV; two grandchildren, Karrie Bunner and Mac Waybright, two great grandchildren, Zach and Lexi, and a brother, Paul Hamrick (Pat) of Sunset Beach, NC. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clayton Marvin Angel in May of 1992, and four brothers, Gene, Dennis, Clarence Hamrick, Jr. and an infant. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 31, 2010, at The Peoples Church at Boaz, with Pastor Kent Boone and Brother Randy Dornam officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Williamstown. Friends may call at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. and also at the church, prior to her services.
