Margaret Mary Schaad, 91, of Lowell, died Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at Marietta Center. She was born June 17, 1921 in Marietta to Raymond and Elizabeth Schilling Arnold. She was a 1940 graduate of Marietta High School. Margaret had lived all of her married life in Lowell, and enjoyed making quilts and pillows for her family. She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church and the Catholic Woman's Club. Margaret is survived by five sons, Larry (Janet) of Lowell, Roger (Connie) of Shepherd, Montana, David (Dorothy), Michael (Marilyn) and Bruce (Jane), all of Waterford; three daughters, Patricia (Richard) Zoller of Marietta, Phyllis (James) Anderson of Lowell and Marcia Noll of Caldwell; 28 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, and a sister, Alice (Vincent) Lang of Churchtown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence J. Schaad on December 30, 2000, they were married on October 22, 1941, also preceded by three brothers, Mark, Dan, and Ambrose Arnold, a sister, Audrey Lang, two daughters in law, Peggy and Tina Schaad, and a grandson, Jacob Schaad. Funeral Liturgy, with Mass, will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 10:00 a.m., by the Rev. Timothy Shannon. Visitation will be at the Lowell Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home on Friday from 1 to 8 p.m. There will be a Vigil Service and The Rosary will be recited beginning at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
