Margaretta Mae Long

Margaretta Mae Long, affectionately known as Marge, 69, of Fleming, died Tuesday, August 30, 2016, at her home surrounded by family. She was born May 25, 1947 in Ritchie County, WV to Noel Everett and June Loretta Hardman Zinn. She was a graduate of Mogadore High School. Margaretta was a member of Pinehurst Christian Church where she was active with the children's programs, including Tuesday School. She is survived by a son, Dustin Long (Brenda) of Fleming; a daughter, Greta Lynch (Trevor) of Barlow; grandchildren, Justin Cochran (Michelle Creel), Marisa Cochran, Evan Cochran (Jesse), Wyatt Lynch (Ashley), and Wade Lynch; great grandchildren, Aurora Rose, Jayla, Ryleigh, and Braxton Cochran; brother, Allen Zinn(Cathy) of Kent and sister, Loretta Mack (Danny) of Mogadore. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Paul Thomas "Tom" Long, who died February 5, 2016. Marge will be remembered by friends for the many lovely flowers she grew in her yard. Funeral services will be held at Pinehurst Christian Church at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 3, 2016, with Evangelist Jeff Tucker officiating. Friends may call at the church from 9 am to 11 am until the time of her service. Burial will be in Barlow Central Cemetery. The family has requested donations to Tuesday School at Pinehurst Christian Church in lieu of flowers.
