Marian Ethel Holland, 81, of Marietta, Ohio died Wednesday, October 31, 2018 in Marietta. She was born on March 8, 1937 in Charleston, WV to the late Marshall and Anna Powell Jenkins.
Marian was a graduate of Marietta High School in 1955 and retired from Marietta City School Systems after 25 years. She was a member of the Marietta First Church of the Nazarene and she loved reading.
Marian is survived by three children, Mark Holland (Judy) of Waterford, OH, Natalie Spindler (William) of Marietta, and Melissa Stewart (Dustin) of Lakeland, FL; six grandchildren, Erica Biehl (Dan Mason), Shelley Holland (Michael Gibson), Tiffany Fruth (Jim), Matthew Spindler, Kelsie and Joshua Brockmeier; four great grandchildren, Troy Gibson, Madison Biehl, Robert and Ryleigh Brockmeier.
The family will greet friends on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at East Lawn Memorial Park.
