Marilyn Lee Burnfield
Marilyn Lee Burnfield, 81, of Fleming, died Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born October 17, 1928 in Fleming to Ralph C. and Pauline Finch Anderson. She was a 1946 graduate of Vincent High School. Marilyn had worked at various places in the area, and retired from Three Sons Market in Vincent. She was a member of the Barlow United Methodist Church. She enjoyed flowers, gardening and watching her grandchildren play sports. She is survived by a daughter, Kelly M. Ollom (Marc) of Vincent; two sons, Barry L. Burnfield (Madalyn) of Corpus Christi, TX and Steven R. Burnfield of Vincent; her grandchildren, who were the loves of her life, Kyle and Kara Ollom, Brandon, Brian, Aaron, Cameron, Chelsea, Megan, Emma, Lilly and Elle Burnfield; great granddaughter, Blair Burnfield, and a sister, Patricia L. Welch (Bill) of Vincent, and their two children, Phil Welch and Paula Hall (Jeff) and a great nephew, Justin Welch. She was preceded in death by her parents, her step father, Paul E. Hiener, a son, Greggory A. Burnfield, and a nephew, Michael Welch. Services will be held at the Barlow Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home on Saturday, February 6, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. with Penny Offenberger officiating. Friends may call on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be at Barlow Central Cemetery. Donations may be made to Barlow Squad, P.O. Box 121, Barlow, OH 45712.
