Mark Allen Dailey, 64, of Fleming, died Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at his residence. He was born January 12, 1948 in Marietta to Kenneth and Naomi Ruth Wilhelm Dailey. He was a 1965 graduate of Warren High School. He had worked at Union Carbide Plastics for 17 years and currently had been a full time farmer. Mark had received the Marietta Area Chamber of Commerce Agricultural Award, was a member and had served as president of the Farm Bureau, had served as chairman of the Washington County Soil & Water Board, was an FFA alumni and honorary member. He had won the Washington County Corn Club award for several years and served on the Washington County Fair Board for 13 years. He loved farming, hunting and teasing the grandkids. Mark is survived by his mother of Fleming, his wife, Diana Lynch Dailey, whom he married on August 20, 1966, two sons, Sandy Dailey (Jennifer) of Barlow and Matt Dailey (Jamie) of Fleming, seven grandchildren, Andrew, Ben, Anna, Ella, Madison and Nathan Dailey and Cole Robinson, a sister, Bonnie Weber, of Fleming and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and a daughter in law, Nicci Dailey. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2012, at the Barlow Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home, with Dr. Lloyd Dennis officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Barlow Central Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Barlow VFD, P.O. Box 121, Barlow, OH 45712.
