Mary Josephine Fagan, 84, of Marietta, died Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born October 5, 1930 in Hocking County, Ohio to Henry and Florence Kessler Boch. She was a graduate of Logan High School and had worked in the Admissions Office at Marietta College. Mary was a member of the Basilica of St. Mary of The Assumption and enjoyed flower gardening. She is survived by three sons, Dale Fagan (Debbie) of Axtell, UT, James Fagan of Marietta and Ken Fagan (Linda) of Lower Salem; ten grandchildren, Devin, Dustin, Tom (Kate), Tim, Travis, Ann, Catie, Grace, Martha and Titus; eight great grandchildren, Dayton, Shaylee, Brinn, Deacon, Ruth, Vernon, Peter and Emma; a brother, Charles Boch of Lancaster, sister in law, Betty Fagan of Lancaster and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Eugene Fagan in 1974, and by two brothers, Joseph and Bernard Boch. Funeral Liturgy, with Mass, will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2014, at the Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption, with the Rev. Msgr. John Michael Campbell as celebrant. Visitation will be at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., with a 3 p.m . Vigil Service. Burial will be in New St. Mary's Cemetery.
