Mary Lou Huck, 94, of Vincent, Ohio died Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Harmar Place. She was born March 27, 1922 to John and Virginia Schilling Arnold. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Churchtown and belonged to the Catholics Woman's Club. She graduated from Marietta High School in 1940. Mary Lou then worked at Curtiss- Wright in Columbus as an aircraft inspector on the 5B2C Helldiver during World War II. On July 14, 1945 she married John Huck Sr. who preceded her in death on March 27, 2007. Mary Lou worked as a home health care worker. She belonged to the Friendly Circle Quilt Club and was an avid quilter. She belonged to the Churchtown Senior Citizens.

She is survived by eight children Virginia (Jerry) Dyar of Marietta, Marlene (Gregory) Greene of Lowell, Arnold (Patty) Huck of Vincent, Elaine (Rob) McFarland of Marysville, Roseria Brockmeier of Massillon, John "Jan" (Billie) Huck of Vincent, Stan Huck (Jon Lynch) of Winston- Salem, NC, and Damian (Lisa) Huck of Lowell. She had sixteen grandchildren. Tricia (Kenley) Schwendeman, Matthew (Jennifer) Greene, Erica (Craig) Gowitzka, Vanessa (Darren) Stollar, Michael (Jamie) Brockmeier, Jason (Amy) Huck, Melanie (Steven) Wentworth, Kendra (Roger) Arteaga, Gregory (Erin) Greene, Jeffrey (Susan) Brockmeier, Denise (Justin) Nahvi, Katrina (Derek) Maklezow, Ryan (Erica) Dyar, Jessica (Bradley) Johnson, Ivan (Astacia) Huck, and Rachel (Gregory) Heldman. There are 24 great-grandchildren, 2 on the way, and many nieces and nephew.

She also is survived by one brother, James Arnold, one sister, Irene Lang, brother-in-law Vincent Huck, sisters-in-law Mildred, Leora, and Lillian Arnold. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers John, George, Anthony, and Jerome Arnold and three sisters Sr. Maria Arnold, Allene Huck, and Bertha Ledger.

Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 10 am. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Fr. Virgil Reischman, Fr. Timothy Shannon, and Fr. Robert Kawa concelebrating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Family and friends may call any time after 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home. There will be a vigil service at 3 p.m. Donations may be made to the St. John School Foundation.
