Mary Jane Nicholson, 76, of Fleming, died Sunday, June 19, 2011, at Riverside Hospital in Columbus. She was born June 11, 1935 in Parkersburg, WV to James and Ruth Gandy Riel. She had worked as a bartender at several places, including American Legion Post #64. She is survived by her husband, Roger L. Nicholson, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Villavicenia, four brothers, George, Roy, Elmer and Don Riel and a sister, Betty Koon. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2011, at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home. Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. and for one hour prior to services on Thursday. Donations may be made to the Strecker Cancer Center.
