Mary Armine "Mimi" Rinesmith, 76, of Marietta, died Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born on June 29, 1934 in San Antonio, TX to Samuel and Rozella Stutz VanMeter. Mimi is a graduate of Stephens College with an Associates Degree in Secretarial Science. She spent most of her life working as a secretary/bookkeeper at many places, including St. Luke's Episcopal Church and the City of Marietta. Mimi was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church and the Welfare League, and was a bookkeeper for the Toy and Doll Museum. She was very artistic and loved to play bridge, playing with the same club for over 50 years. She is survived by two daughters, Michelle Rose Grimm and Cathleen Rose, both of Marietta; one granddaughter, Courtney Grimm Price (Bradley) of Columbus, Ohio; and her faithful companion, Buckley. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Richard "Dick" Rose, and her last husband, William "Bill" Rinesmith. Her memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, with The Rev. David Ruppe officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home. Burial of her ashes will be in Mound Cemetery.
