Maxine Kay Hopp

Maxine Kay Hopp, 79, of Marietta, Ohio, formerly of Lowell, Ohio, died Monday, September 24, 2018, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 30, 1939 in Marietta, to Harmon Leroy and Selma Marie Fouss Roe.
Maxine was a 1956 graduate of Marietta High School. She worked at Peoples Bank for 22 years, and following retirement, she worked in the home health care field. Maxine was a member of Grace Fellowship Church in Mineral Wells, WV, loved doing volunteer work, scrapbooking and music.
She is survived by her sister, Bonnie Roe of Lowell; brother, Martin Roe (Naomi) of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Richard "Rick" Hopp, whom she married on June 30, 1957.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2018, at the Lowell Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home, with Pastor Warren Wilson officiating. Burial of her ashes will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and for one hour prior to services on Thursday.
