Michael Anthony Giglio, 59, of Marietta, died Sunday, September 16, 2012, at The Ross Heart Center at The Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus. He was born January 13, 1953 in San Francisco, CA to Anthony and Thelma Bailey Giglio. Michael was a 1971 graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School. He was an Air Force veteran of Vietnam. Michael was a self-employed truck driver. He had a love of steamboats and paddle wheel boats. Michael's survivors include his wife, Julita Mellendes Giglio, sister, Margaret Bigness (Raymond) of Liverpool, NY, nephews, Jeremy and Ryan Bigness of Liverpool, NY, Kyle Bigness (Keri) of Franklin, MA and niece, Melinda Bigness of Fort Collins, CO. He was preceded in death by his parents. There will be a memorial service held on Wednesday, September 19, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home. His family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service. His ashes will be buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Marietta.
