Michael John Huck of Waterford, Ohio, died Friday, September 1, 2017 at Marietta Memorial Hospital, following a long struggle with Parkinson's Disease.
He was born on January 7, 1935 to Raymond and Anna Bauerbach Huck in his lifelong family home in Waterford.
Mike graduated from Waterford High School in 1954 and was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Lowell. He and his brother owned Huck Brothers, Inc. and Huck Brothers Tractor Sales. Mike enjoyed the outdoors, working on his farm, hunting and spending time with his family. He loved all animals, especially his furry friends, Star, Coco and Kitty.
He is survived by his wife, Carol M. Garland Huck; three daughters, Roxanne Huck (Bill Boggs), Janet Harlan (Bruce) and Michele Nichols (John); three grandchildren, Kayli and Ashley Davis and Reece Nichols; sister, Sara Jones; and two children from a previous marriage, Jerry and Mike Huck.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Eugene; and daughter, Judy Hart.
Funeral services will be at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at the Lowell Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home, with The Rev. Timothy Shannon officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Private burial of his ashes will be in Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery at a later time.
