Michele Rene' Hendershot

Michele Rene’ Hendershot, 65, of Lowell, Ohio, died peacefully in her home, March 14, 2025. She was born on March 24, 1959, in Lima, Ohio, to Jack Everett and Betty Carolyn Davis Doan.

Michele graduated from Camel County High School in Gillette, WY, in 1977. Michele worked for Four Bridges for over 20 years. She loved spending time with family and friends, craft shows, crocheting, everything yellow and butterflies. Michele took every chance she had to spend time with her grandchildren. She also was very involved with the American Cancer Society and Relay for Life, fighting for a cure with her team: Cancer Kickers.

Michele is survived by son, Josh Hendershot (Angie); daughter, Tessa Hendershot (AJ); eight grandchildren and step grandchildren, Hailey, Taylor, Addison, Aubry, Leeya, Mollie, Madison, and Bentley; sisters, Mariann Cannon (Tom), Melanie Seevers (Gary); brothers, Mark Doan (Belinda), Martin Doan (Faith); and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Hendershot, whom she married on July 20, 1977; and her parents, Jack and Betty Doan.

Family will greet friends beginning at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, ending at 1:00 pm with her funeral service, at the MARIETTA CHAPEL OF CAWLEY & PEOPLES FUNERAL HOME.
