Norma A. Dunn, 83, of Hilton Head Island, SC and Marietta, OH, died Monday, December 21, 2015, in Savannah, GA. She was born May 26, 1932 in Parkersburg, WV to James and Beulah Lynch Bailey. She was a graduate of Wirt County High School and Camden Clark School of Nursing. During her nursing career she worked in various positions at Camden Clark Hospital and several industrial firms until she became Director of Nursing at Worthington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in 1972 and subsequently Administrator at Worthington until her retirement in 1997. Norma was a member of Altrusa of Parkersburg and a former member of the Parkersburg Country Club and Dolphin Head Golf Club at Hilton Head Island. She enjoyed traveling and golfing with her husband and her many friends in Marietta, Parkersburg, and Hilton Head Island. Her husband, James B. Dunn, survives along with her two daughters, Melinda (Doug) Groves of Florissant, MO and Marilyn Grandison of Mount Pleasant, PA; a sister, Eleanor (Tom) Rinehart of Walker, WV; sister in law, Annette Mobley of Woodsfield,OH; stepsons, Homer Dunn of Marietta and Mark Dunn of Coolville, OH; grandchildren, Holly (Mark) Tieman, Kelly (Martin) Garcia, Cecily Kelly, Edy Tampoya, Leahanna Keane, Jason (Rachael) Dunn, Rachel (Nate) Gerber; five great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was prceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Harry L. Lambert (father of her children), brother, James L. Bailey, sister, Thelma L. Bibbee (and her husband, Richard), step son, James F. Dunn, and step daughter, Jill N. Dunn. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home, 408 Front St., Marietta, OH. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 24, 2015, at Christ United Methodist Church, 301 Wooster St., Marietta, OH, with the Rev. Don Archer officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Marietta.
