Pamela Sue Ritchie Hanes, 54, of Marietta, died Tuesday, November 11, 2008, at Marietta Center. She was born March 26, 1954, in Marietta to Bernard A. and Violet Cox Ritchie. She graduated from Marietta High School in 1972. She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Anne "Beth" Hanes of Marietta; a grandson, Logan Matthew Hanes; a brother, William "Bill" Ritchie (Donna) of Columbus; two sisters, June Voshel (Jeff) of Lowell and Linda Reynolds (Kenny) of Marietta and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Matthew David Hanes. Abiding with Pam's wishes, she was cremated, and there will be a memorial service at a later date. The Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home is assisting the family with her arrangements.
