Patricia Pauline Reynolds Haas died July 4, 2011 in Marietta, Ohio after
a short illness. She was born October 22, 1920 in Medford, Massachusetts
to Joseph Patrick Reynolds and Helene Walsh Reynolds. She was graduated from De Sales Heights Academy in Parkersburg, West Virginia and received a B. A. degree from Marietta College in 1943. She married William Hanson Haas in 1946, who preceded her in death in 1996, as did her brother Joseph F. Reynolds in 2002. She is survived by a
brother, Owen P. Reynolds (Mary Louise) of Rochester, Minnesota, sons
William H. Haas of Marietta, Johnathan E. Haas of Kennett Square,
Pennsylvania, Lawrence R. Haas (Carol) of Guysville, Ohio and Shawn P.
Haas of San Antonio, Texas, granddaughter Jessica E. George (Tony) of
Kidron, Ohio, and grandsons Nathaniel P. N. Haas (Shannon) of Nederland, Colorado and Christopher F. W. S. Haas (Julia) of Columbus, Ohio. In her many years as a Washington County resident, she was a member of the Marietta AAUW and active at the O'Neill Senior Center. She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Lowell, Ohio for many years and sang in their choir, and more recently, a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Marietta. She enjoyed reading and writing poetry. Funeral Liturgy, with Mass, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 8, 2011, at St. Mary Catholic Church, with the Rev. Msgr. John Michael Campbell officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m., with a Vigil Service at 8:00 p.m. The family welcomes memorial donations to the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley, P.O.
