Patricia Hatton Ley

February 11, 1923 — February 22, 2018

Patricia Hatton Ley, 95, of Marietta, Ohio died February 22, 2018, at Heartland of Marietta. She was born February 11, 1923 in London, England to the late Albert and Norah Till Keight.

She volunteered at Washington County Home for many years. Patricia was a member of The Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption and the Catholic Women's Club.

Patricia is survived by three sons, Robert of Newark, John (Mary Anne)
of Marietta, and Michael (Jacqueline) of Durham, NC; nine grandchildren, Robert Ley III (Shari) of Granville, Rebecca Metzger of Westerville, Donald Ley (Nancy) of Hilliard, Patricia Smith (Rusty) of Newark, Michaelene Dohman (Adam) of Texas,
J. R. Ley of Colorado, Stephanie Pfister (Marc) of CT, Aaron Ley of New Philadelphia, Denise Thompson of Raleigh, NC; and a number of great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert George Ley, Sr.; brother Derek Stanton; daughter Noreen S. Ley-Saylor; daughter in law, Sue Ley; and three grandchildren, Valerie, Wendi and Erik.

Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at the Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption, with Rev. Msgr. John Michael Campbell as celebrant. Burial of ashes in East Lawn Memorial Park will take place following the services. The family will greet friends on Tuesday for one hour prior to the services at the church.
