Patricia Joan Warne McIntosh, 68, of Whipple, Ohio, died Monday, January 12, 2009, at her residence. She was born February 25, 1940 in Marietta to Joseph Glen and Lillian Louise Hill Warne. She had worked for many years as a waitress in local businesses, then was employed at Fenton Art Glass, before becoming owner and operator of the Wrangler Tavern in Whipple. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Marietta and the Country Music Association. Patricia loved to sing and cook, and enjoyed all gardening and canning fresh produce. She also enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren. She is survived by seven children, Joseph Miller (Susan) of Parkersburg, WV, Robert McIntosh, Jr. of Marietta, Diana Bogess (Tim) of Dalzell, Bryan McIntosh (Tisha) of Marietta, Connie Hughes (Dwain) of Whipple, Michael McIntosh of Caldwell and Mary Ellen Lowe (Doug) of Lowell; sixteen grandchildren, Richard, III, Jennifer and Wesley Huddleston, Amanda and Tara Miller, Justin and Lindsey McIntosh, Megan Berio, Courtney and Cara McIntosh, Chase, Brittany and Brady Lowe, Nicole Schilling and Britney and Brandon, the children of Michael McIntosh; eight great grandchildren; a brother, Gary "Bud" Warne (Karen); a sister, Diane Losch (Charlie) and a sister-in-law, Marcie Warne, all of Marietta, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Donald Warne. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 16, 2009, at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home, with Rick Cline officiating. Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Park.
