Patricia Lou "Patty" Welch, 85, of Vincent, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born August 2, 1927 in Fleming to Ralph C. and Pauline M. Finch Anderson. She was a 1945 graduate of Vincent High School. Patty enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with her family, knitting and helping others. She is survived by her son, Phil Welch, of Vincent, daughter, Paula Welch Hall (Jeff) of Marietta, grandson, Justin Welch (Mime) of Raleigh, NC, great grandson, Layton Bennett and many nieces and nephews. Patty was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Glen "Bill" Welch on August 6, 2012, son, Michael and sister, Marilyn Burnfield. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2013, at the Barlow Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home with the Rev. Dave Hubbard officiating. Burial will be in Barlow Central Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Donations may be made to the Barlow VFD, P.O. Box 121, Barlow, OH 45712.
