Patty was a 1968 graduate of Skyvue High School. She worked at the Marietta Chamber of Commerce before becoming a stay at home mom. At that time, and for many years, she babysat many local children, and considered each and every one of them her own. She has touched so many lives over the years, and will be missed by many.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, and was an avid Waterford Wildcats basketball fan. Patty enjoyed reading, flower gardening and supporting her grandchildren in their sporting and school events at Waterford, St. John's and Shenandoah schools.
She is survived by her husband, Arnold Huck, whom she married on October 27, 1973; her mother, E. Jean Tewanger Gribble; daughters, Tricia Schwendeman (Kenley), Vanessa Stollar (Darren) and Melanie Wentworth (Steven); grandchildren, Averi and Isaac Schwendeman, Luke Stollar, and Jarrett, Carter and Austin Wentworth; siblings, Bonnie Offenberger (Kenny), Connie Arnold (Terry), Sam Tewanger (Debbie) and Amy Lang (Pat); special friend, Alberta Huck; and many nieces, nephews and godchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father; and step father, James Gribble.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, with The Rev. Timothy Davison and The Rev. David Huffman concelebrating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home, with the Rosary being recited at 4:00 p.m.
