Pauline Frances Stringer

Pauline Frances Stringer, 83, of Marietta, died Monday, June 21, 2010, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born December 13, 1926 in Logan County, WV to George Edward and Herman Faye Linville Ferrell. She loved her grandchildren, liked doing crafts, and enjoyed her houseplants and cats. She is survived by two daughters, Lin Allen of Marietta and Bren Stringer of Dallas, TX; three grandchildren, Scott A.R. Willson, Raleigh T. Willson, and Danielle M. Ewalt; two great grandchildren, Stephanie Semons and Eric Scott Willson, and a brother, Carl G. Ferrell of Parkersburg, WV. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Stringer in 1976, also by four brothers and sisters, Sidney Ferrell, Thelma White, Kenneth Ferrell and Arlene Kegley. Abiding with her wishes, she has been cremated and there will be no services. Burial of her ashes will be in Putnam Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Diabetes Association, 1100 Dennison Ave., Columbus, OH 43201. The Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home is assisting the family with her arrangements.
