Peggy Jo Cox

Peggy Jo Ryan Cox, 75, of Barlow joined her beloved husband Larry in Heaven on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at Waterview Pointe. She was born on March 24, 1949 in Marietta to Thomas and Carol (Bond) Ryan. She was a 1967 graduate of Warren High School and also attended classes at Ohio Dominican College, Marshall University, Parkersburg Community College, and various medical training classes. She was employed at St. Joseph’s Hospital and for Dr. Michael Santer, Sr. for several years along with other places of employment. She was a long time member of the Barlow Presbyterian Church.

Peggy is survived by her son, Mark Goudy; step-daughter Stephanie (Brian) Roberts, step-son Rodney (Jack) Cox; two brothers-in-law, Roger (Jackie) Cox and Randy (Alma) Cox; two sisters-in-law Judy Hayes and Linda (Mike) Bennett and several cousins including special cousins Susie Stacy and Steve Sprague.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Larry, sister-in-law Janet (Bill) Packard and brother-in-law Earl Hayes.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, July 20 at 3 p.m. with Pastor Rick Hastings officiating at the BARLOW CHAPEL OF CAWLEY & PEOPLES FUNERAL HOMES. Friends may call on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Barlow Central Cemetery.
